Dear FHCI families,

It is with a very heavy heart that the Forest Heights community mourns the loss of Khalid Ahmed, a Grade 12 student.

Khalid loved soccer and was a dedicated and compassionate peer tutor.

In Khalid’s honour, the flags at the school and at the educational centre will be flown at half mast this week.

Our thoughts are with the Ahmed Family at this time.

We have extra support in the school for students who may be impacted. Please encourage your child to reach out to a trusted adult to be connected to support. You can also contact your child’s guidance counselor or vice principal to activate support for your child.
