Do you have a child in Grade 10 who is thinking about post-secondary? The University of Waterloo is hosting an information night for students in Grade 10 and their families and caregivers.

Date: Thursday, February 22, 2024
Time: 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

  • Information fair (in person, optional/drop-in)

    • Time: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. or 8:00 to 8:30 p.m.

    • Where: University of Waterloo, Hagey Hall Hub

  • Presentation (in person and live stream option, video recording will be shared after with all registrants)

    • Time: 6:30 to 8 p.m.

    • Where: University of Waterloo, Humanities Theatre

Learn about what your child can do now to prepare for post-secondary education.

The information will be general and helpful regardless of which universities or programs your child is interested in. It will not focus on Waterloo’s faculties and academic programs. Speakers will provide an overview of university and tips on how to choose a program of study. Attendees will learn about:

  • Applying to university

  • Studying what you love

  • Financing your education

Registration for these events is required.

Please note: Students who cannot attend in-person can watch the live stream (registration is still required). Every person who registers will receive an email with the recording when it’s available to watch on their own time.
