While students and teachers continue to complete work for their semester one classes, we want you to know the following important information about the start of semester 2: 

PD Day – Thursday, February 1st

Just a reminder that Thursday, February 1st is a PD Day.  Students are not to attend school on this day.

Start of Semester Two – Friday, February 2nd.

Semester Two classes begin on Friday, February 2nd and we will follow a regular Week 2 Schedule on this day.  Both the School Year Calendar and the Daily Schedule are linked here for your reference.

When students arrive on Friday, they will find their homeroom on lists posted in the main foyer.  Homeroom teachers will provide students with updated semester two timetables.

Welcoming a New Principal on February 20th

After almost seven years of serving the Forest Heights community as Principal, Mrs. Rowe will be starting in a new role as a System Administrator at the Education Centre.  We want to thank Mrs. Rowe for all of her support of staff and students at FHCI and we wish her well in her new role. 

Ms. Paula Bender will be rejoining the Forest Heights staff as our Principal.  Ms. Bender is currently the Principal of Preston High School and brings with her a wealth of teaching and administrator experience.  She also brings with her a knowledge of our students and community as she was a Vice-Principal at FHCI from 2013-2018.

Over the next few weeks, Mrs. Rowe and Ms. Bender will be working together to ensure a smooth transition.
