Have a great summer, Trojans!

 

As we wrap up another school year – today is the final day for students to complete and submit school work for their teachers – the staff at FHCI would like to take this opportunity to thank our parents and students for a wonderful year!  We hope that you stay safe this summer and are all able to take some time to do the things that you enjoy and bring you happiness!  

 

A special thank you and congratulations to our graduating students!  While your high school experience has likely not been what you expected it to be when you started in grade nine, your perseverance and ability to adapt through a range of challenges has been impressive, and has certainly provided you with important skills moving forward.  We hope that you will come back for Commencement (Graduation Ceremony) on Friday, October 14th.

 

Along with our graduating students, we also have some staff members who will be moving on to positions at other schools and programs in September.  Please join me in thanking Ms. Beirnes, Mr. Darling, Mr. Donkersgoed, Ms. Park, Ms. King, and Ms. Thomson – we wish you all the best at your new schools.  

 

For Mr. Rampelt, Mrs. Hyam and Mr. McLean, today is really their last day of school as they are retiring!  They have each dedicated many years to education and to Forest Heights and we congratulate them and wish them well as they begin their next chapter.

 

Final Report Cards

Semester Two Final Report Cards will be mailed to all students the week July 4th.

 

First Day of School – Tuesday, September 6th

More information about the start of the school year will be posted on School Day and the school website as it becomes available in August; however, here is some information to assist you in your thinking about next year:

 

 

 

Student timetables (grades 10-12) will be made available to students on the first day of school.  Students entering Grade 9 will have their timetables mailed to their home address in mid-August as well as specific first day of school information.

 

School Main Office –  Summer Hours

The Main Office will be open from July 4th-7th and July 11-14th, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Due to some significant construction projects happening at FHCI this summer, please use the main entrance of the school only.  The Main Office will be closed from July 15th to August 19th, re-opening on August 22nd.

  • Departing students will receive a copy of their transcript with their report card. Current students can request a copy from the Guidance Office.  Other transcript requests can be completed by completing the online form on the Board website.
  • Registration appointments will be booked starting the last week of August. Please complete the Online Registration to start the process and we will connect with you in August. If you have any questions, please call 519-744-6567, press 4, and leave a message and we will contact you upon our return.
