Dear Forest Heights Families, 

 

I am writing to you regarding an incident that took place around our school today. 

During lunch break, an altercation occurred outside school property involving a group of our students. Staff and bystanders called 911 immediately, who arrived to help resolve the situation. 

This incident was reported to Waterloo Regional Police Services (WRPS) who are investigating. 

Violence does not belong at Forest Heights Collegiate Institute.  This behaviour does not align with the values of FHCI or the wider Waterloo Region District School Board. If you have any information about this incident, please call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. 

We always take every necessary precaution to ensure the safety of our students. We would like to thank the Waterloo Regional Police for responding and for their continuous support by keeping our school community safe.
