It’s time to start thinking about the 2022-2023 school year and your own personal pathway plans. Check out the “Choosing Your Courses” pages for the appropriate grade you are entering in September 2022. The pages contain valuable links to course descriptions for all of the courses we are offering next year as well as step by step instructions for you to begin the course selection process.
Guidance Counsellors will be handing out hard copies of the 2022-2023 course selection sheets in the next weeks – take them home and use them to start the conversation with your parents/caregivers about your pathway plans, academic goals, and the courses you will take next year. Then, early in Semester 2 counsellors will be making classroom visits to do our course selection presentations and support you in the process.
Students, parents, caregivers, teachers and guidance councellors, education support staff and administrators all work together to support students. We encourage students and families to have a discussion about this very important part of the career/life planning and education journey. Please don’t be afraid to reach out and talk about your plans and goals. The decisions and selections you make now will impact your experience into the next school year and beyond. Take the time to make the best choices.
