We are pleased to welcome students back to in-person learning on Monday, January 17th.

On Monday, students will be attending their Periods C and D classes.  Students should use their assigned entrances and sanitize their hands upon entry.

Items to Bring With You

  • Your charged Chromebook.
  • A lunch or snack.
  • A re-fillable water bottle.
  • Mask or appropriate face-covering.
  • Dress for the weather (e.g. boots, hats and mitts) – many classes will continue to take walks outside.

Daily Screening for COVID-19

Before leaving home, students must complete the Ontario COVID-19 School Screen and follow the instructions provided.  Students should then verify that they have passed the school screening tool by completing the Secondary Student Verification.   Links to both of these tools can be found on the FHCI School Website (buttons on the left-hand side)

Nutrition Break

Students will be required to remain in their first period (morning) classroom to eat lunch, or they may opt to eat their lunch outside.  Students should remain in their chosen location until the bell that rings at 11:20 am directs them to move to their second period (afternoon) class.  Students are permitted to return to Highland Hills Mall during the lunch period and are encouraged to behave in a respectful manner and follow the directions provided by plaza staff.

Nutrition for Learning

Nutrition for Learning bags will be available to students starting Monday.  Students are reminded to sanitize their hands before taking a bag.
