Student timetables will be sent to students via WRDSB email by end of day on Friday, September 3, 2021. Included in this email will be important information regarding first day procedures, the school entrance that students will be required to use, and where they will be meeting their teacher on the first day. Students new to our board will have this information sent to the email address provided at registration.
This year we will be following a Modified Semester model where students will have two classes each day. Students will attend Periods A and B in one week, and will attend Periods C and D in the following week. Please find here links to the FHCI School Year Calendar and to the FHCI Daily Schedule.

Return To School – A Guide for Families
We are committed to ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our staff and students. On the left-hand side of our website, you can find a button called “Return To School” that will lead you to important information regarding student well-being, transportation, and health and safety, including FAQs with commonly asked questions. Teachers will also be sharing class specific safety information with students.
- Students must continue to self-assess before attending school each day, using the Ontario COVID-19 School Screening Tool. The tool will inform you if you are able to attend school in-person that day.
- Do NOT attend school if you have COVID-19 symptoms, you have travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days, or you have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19.
- If you start experiencing symptoms while at school, you are to report how you are feeling to your teacher immediately.
- Students will have assigned entrances and exits to the building. It is important that students use these assigned entrances and exits to limit congestion in the hallways and provide for physical distancing.
- Students are to wear a properly fitted, non-medical or cloth mask indoors in school, including hallways.
- All students must sanitize their hands upon entry into the building and continue to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer frequently throughout the day.
- Students should bring lunch, snacks and a refillable water bottle to school. The cafeteria will not be open at this time.
- Students may eat lunch in their first period classroom, or go outside (off-campus) to eat lunch. While outside, continue to practice physical distancing, avoid congregating, and be respectful of our community.
- Remember to bring your Chromebooks – make sure they are charged and ready to go!
- Visitors to the school will only be permitted under special circumstances or by appointment.
Please continue to check our school website for information and updates.
