On behalf of the Forest Heights staff, I would like to extend our thanks to all of our students and their families for their extraordinary efforts during these months of school closure.  Although we have been physically apart from each other, we have been able to come together as a school community to continue to learn and to support each other.

To our graduates – although I am sure that this is not the high school ending that you envisioned, we thank you for all of your contributions to FHCI and know that we are thinking about you.  Our teachers especially appreciated the chance to connect with you through the grad T-shirt delivery and we look forward to celebrating your accomplishments at Commencement in the fall (whether it be virtual or in person).

There are also several staff members that are retiring at the end of this year.  Each of these teachers have spent over 30 years teaching, with many of those years dedicated to supporting the Forest Heights community.  We say thank you and farewell to Mr. Tonin, Ms. Vander Schaaf, Mrs. Ritter, and Mr. Pfaff.

Due to the ongoing school closure, and several construction projects, the school building will be closed for the summer.  However, staff will be available during the summer months to assist you:

  • Semester Two Report Cards will be mailed to home addresses the week of June 29th.  Final grades are available to students now through MyWay.
  • School support staff will be available to answer questions via email fhc@wrdsb.ca or by calling 519-744-6567 (Press 3 for the general mailbox) until July 9th.  They will be available again after August 17th.
  • Transcripts can be ordered by sending an email to records@wrdsb.ca.
  • If you would like to make a registration appointment, please call 519-744-6567, press 4 and leave a message, our guidance secretary will return your call and schedule an appointment with you.

More information about the start of the school year will be posted here when it becomes available in August.  Student timetables will be made available to students on the first day of school.

We hope that you have a wonderful and safe summer – take the opportunity to literally unplug from your devices!  We look forward to a time when we can be together again.
