Forest Heights is undergoing a construction project to replace windows and complete some brick repair along with some interior repairs. The entire project is expected to last six to eight weeks. A portion of this project will include asbestos abatement. The abatement is expected to last a total of three weeks.
Windows facing Forest Hill Drive are being replaced. As part of the brick repair, the damaged brick and vermiculite will be removed by a qualified abatement contractor. All abatement work will be done after school hours and will be done from the outside of the building within an enclosure and will follow all required protocols.
We want to assure you that the safety of our students and staff is our main priority. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this project, please do not hesitate to contact the main office.
