Students and staff at Forest Heights were evacuated this morning as a result of a small gas leak in one of our science labs. The building was evacuated quickly and in an orderly manner. Kitchener Fire responded to the call and tested the school. No gas was detected after the evacuation and students and staff were able to safely return to class. We would like to thank Kitchener Fire for ensuring the safety of our students and staff.
