This is a course designed for students who do not have a specific sport preference or proficiency. They should be interested in personal fitness, training and conditioning. The students will set and pursue personal fitness goals through a variety of workout activities with an emphasis on “overall health”. Some of the activities may include weight training, running, interval training, circuit training, swimming, guest speakers, martial arts/boxing, yoga, biking and some off-campus fitness activities. The concepts from Power Fit and Live Fit will be followed and emphasized but are not prerequisite for this course. Active participation is a requirement for this course.
